Wetlands and Waste Management Awareness Campaign by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) of Uganda is a campaign that runs on radio stations tagerting the common Ugandan. It’s geared towards demystifying and promoting vital environmental issues on wetlands in Uganda themed, Kuuma Obutonde Bw'Ensi.

NEMA invites the people of Uganda to tune in to a radio station every weekday evening on Kuuma Obutonde Bw'Ensi. Community members are be encouraged to participate, learn, and contribute to a greener Uganda by answering questions and standing a chance to win exciting prizes.

The show ignited a passion for environmental stewardship across Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area, fostered an informed and active community members dedicated to preserving our wetlands and managing waste responsibly.
