National Environment Authority (NEMA) has several regional offices across the country to facilitate environmental management and regulation at the local level. The head office is located in Kampala and also in charge of Central Region, Mbarara Regional office in charge of Western Uganda, Hoima Regional Office for Albertine Graben Area, Lira Regional Office for Northern Uganda, and Mbale Regional Office for Eastern Uganda.
